Frequently Asked Questions

We've tried to give the answer to the basic questions everyone asks.  As we receive more questions from our readers we will add them to this page.

I want to become a Featured Artist? What do I need to do?

Each Artist Subscription includes being able to submit pictures as well as filling out an information form for our Featured Artist page.  Pictures for the Featured Artist page will be chosen from submissions by the Artist selected.

How small is 'miniature'?

We follow the hand made teddy bear industry standards of small being 12 to 6 inches, miniature being under 6 inches tall, and micro being 2 inches or smaller.

What is Dear Beary?

Dear Beary is our helpful Tips Bear.  She will try her best to answer your questions about making or collecting these wonderful miniature thread and fiber teddy bears and their friends.  You can mail your questions for Dear Bear to DearBeary@MiniTeddyHugs.com.

Can I advertise on your site?

We have multiple ways to advertise on our website, including rotating banners on our main pages, banner links, text links and a classified ad section.  Please see our Subscriptions page for more information.

How can I get a banner made?  And can they be used for other websites?

Just let us know you would like us to make a banner for you and we'll get to work on it.  The banners are standard industry size (468 pixels wide x 60 pixels high).  You will own the banner and can use it on other sites if you wish.

What if I have my own banner already?  Can I just send you that?

We will gladly use your banners on our site providing they are of standard industry size - 468 pixels wide x 60 pixels high.  All you need to do is email it to us when you sign up for an advertising subscription.

I sew miniature mohair bears.  Can I subscribe and send in submissions for your website?

Mini Teddy Hugs was created to help promote the public awareness of miniature thread and needle felted creations.  By popular request we have expanded to include sewn bears.
